Dave spent five years in higher education as a Residence Hall Director at Central Michigan University, where he ran a staff of nine, oversaw 300+ residents, taught a first-year experience course, and managed full employee lifecycles from hiring to termination. He earned his M.A. in Educational Leadership there. That is where he learned how people actually develop. Not through slide decks. Through structure, accountability, and someone paying attention.

He took that into Stryker, where he spent over a decade across four progressively senior roles spanning Finance Training, the Talent Management Center of Excellence, and Global Quality Operations HR. He built a custom Learning Experience Platform from scratch. He launched the company's first global learning library (LinkedIn Learning) and drove it to 95% adoption across 40,000+ employees. He worked directly with the CHRO to modernize how the entire organization approaches learning and development, and defined the multi-year technology roadmap to get there.

His last role was Technical Development Manager, where he designed competency frameworks for engineering and continuous improvement, ran the Front Line Leadership program for 376 participants per session across 33 countries, and built six production applications that replaced processes held together by spreadsheets and tribal knowledge.

He also writes code. Custom applications on Power Platform, Power BI dashboards, automation workflows, and now native iOS apps. The technology side is not separate from the people work. It is what makes the diagnostic different. He does not just find what is broken. He knows how to build what replaces it.

She studied accounting at CMU, which gives her a foundation most operations leaders don't have. She spent a few years in higher education running recruitment and large-scale events before joining Stryker, where she worked her way from talent acquisition all the way to running integrated business planning and division-level operations for a medical device business. That path matters. She started with people and ended up running the numbers that tell you whether the whole system is working.

At that scale, a misaligned demand signal is not a math problem. It is a production commitment, a customer experience issue, and a quarter of earnings. Hillary knows what that looks like from the inside and has spent over a decade fixing it. She can walk into any business, a seasonal winery, a growing manufacturer, a retail shop running too-deep discounts, and see the allocation problem underneath what looks like a sales problem. That is the lever. She is good at finding it.
